About Erik
A short professional biography
Welcome to my professional biography.
For over 14 years, I have worked at the intersection of change, leadership and complex transformation, supporting organisations as they navigate moments of strategic, digital and organisational transition. With a background in Digital Management (MA, Hyper Island) and extensive experience as a consultant, leader and entrepreneur, I bring both strategic perspective and grounded execution to change initiatives.
I previously held the role of Senior Manager Business Transformation at frog (part of Capgemini Invent) in Stockholm. There, I worked as a consultant alongside leadership teams within large Retail, Telecom and Automotive organisations, supporting asset- and IT-driven transformations across Europe. Together, we translated ambition into action — aligning strategy, technology, governance and behaviour to realise sustainable, customer-centric change. Much of this work focused on shaping organisations that are resilient, responsible and fit for a rapidly changing world.
Alongside my consulting career, I have built and led multiple ventures. From co-founding a digital channel to running international e-commerce platforms, working in circular electronics and holding senior digital leadership roles within the Dutch B2B telecom sector, I have experienced transformation from the inside. As Managing Director Digital at Zens Wireless Charging, I was responsible for the full digital and marketing strategy within a hardware-driven, international scale-up environment. These experiences allow me to relate deeply to the realities leaders face when strategy meets day-to-day execution.
What characterises my way of working is a servant and advisory leadership style. I rarely seek the spotlight; instead, I focus on creating clarity, alignment and momentum so that teams and leaders can perform at their best. I believe lasting change emerges when people feel ownership, trust and direction — not when solutions are imposed. My role is often to bring structure to complexity, facilitate difficult conversations and help organisations move forward with confidence.
Outside of work, I enjoy organising and participating in think-tank sessions, spending time in nature, reading philosophy, and maintaining a daily practice of yoga and meditation. These practices inform how I work: with attention, presence and respect for both people and systems.
I see transformation as more than a project or programme, it is a continuous journey of learning, adaptation and responsibility. I am always open to meaningful conversations about how change can be shaped in a way that serves organisations, people and the world around us.
What moves me
My core motivation
am driven by the desire to help organisations move forward in moments of complexity and transition. What motivates me most is turning intent into reality: helping leaders and teams translate ambition into clear direction, aligned action and sustainable results.
I find meaning in guiding change that truly lands — not by forcing solutions, but by creating clarity, trust and ownership. Progress, for me, is achieved when people understand why change is needed, feel supported in how to move, and are empowered to make it work in practice.
What’s important to me
My values and interest
I am guided by values of responsibility, integrity and long-term impact. I am inspired by systemic and purpose-led change that strengthens organisations while contributing positively to society and the planet.
I am particularly interested in transformations where technology, infrastructure and people come together to create sustainable outcomes — not as an end in itself, but as a means to build resilient organisations and a healthier world.
